SQL DBs scale not just on transactions per second but also on lifetime of the project and size of the codebase. Each table in Dynamo can only ever have one partition key and one sort key. In SQL you can couple everything to everything and given enough time you will. Which is why SQL DBs are outlawed at Amazon. And I agree with that.

People are assuming that Biden will be friendlier to China than Trump was. Bad assumption. It's based off of how Democratic Presidents years ago treated China. But the world is different now. China today is not the same China that faced Obama.

As long as the economy is still "reopening" I think stocks go up. As soon as we are "open" and no longer "reopening" I should sell a bunch of stock. Maybe even a touch before that. This is simple math stuff. Change and rate of change matter more than absolute value.

I hope there's some real drama in my life again some day. For now I'm just solving math problems. I've always been good at math though.
